Have a 2002 buick lesabre 39500 miles not leaking but suspect burning oil why????

Same thing here, a no oil consumption till about 90k, then it has gotten gradually worse, at 110k about 2500/qt. Previous 3800's I have had with this when taken apart there there was a puddle of oil around the 2 inside corner lower intake bolts under the upper intake, replacing the lower gaskets and or sealing those bolts corrected most of it. This assumes good mainatance history of course. Mine is a 2003.

What things have led to your thinking you're burning oil at an excessive rate?

What makes you believe it's burning an unusual amount of oil? How is that being determined?

What kind of driving does the car get?
How often has the oil been changed?
