Re: 2000 cont. help with getting gas into car

I had this issue on my POS KIA- It has something to do with the venting system at the tank.

I fixed my problem by mistake...kind of... I bought a 40oz bottle of lucas fuel treatment and for 3 straight fill ups I poured 1/3 of the bottle in the car and as I filled up for the third time I had no issues with filling up again and the clogged fuel injector cleared up. I LOVE THIS STUFF!

Good luck-

yes fixed it. under the car under trunk area you will find a plastc tray housing the vent solinoid and related piping, disconnect piping and use low air pressure to blow through the lines. Mike
