Mitsy Evo 8

Just finished this model. Only got the number plate to go, but kept having problems with the decals falling apart.
Painted with gunze sangyo metallic blue.
Wheels are 19inch Enkei GTC-01.

Will try get some outside photos when the weather gets sunnier.

Thanks for looking..

Comments please

Looks nice, it's unusual to see one without a spoiler

Re: Mitsy Evo 8

Thanks for the comments guys...
I masked the rear window and painted the matt black and when i took off the tape, it left this residue. The paint must have re-acted with the adhesive in the tape. I didn't know how to get it off.

Its just residue from the tape. What tape are you using? If i was you i would use tamiya tape as its one of the best for our hobby, there is also other tape that zoomzoom (Bob Downie) informed us about that is low tack and almost identical than tamiyas from a cheaper price.

Next if you get the same results use fine rubbing compound to get the residue off, followed by some wax.

I used tamiya tape. I tried some tamiya finish polish, but it didnt work.
Its like it has ate into the plastic. Same thing happened on the front windscreen.

Weird, same thing happened to me with tamiya tape on a painted/cleared/polished body. Thought it was because of the really warm weather, but maybe it's another problem.

Sorry for off-topic, nice Evo btw, i like that color. It's true that it's rare to see one without a wing, but it looks really nice like this.

Nice build!
