01 tribute high idle

Hello all, I have an 01 Trib, 4 cyl with 97k standard that recently seems to idle really high when I push in the clutch. It idles over 3k at most points which makes me think it's a vacuum or egr isuse. Any suggestions for diagnosing? Thank you

Sounds like a stuck EGR valve, it's like an open window to your intake.
