2002 grandprix 3800 v6 heater air flowing but will not go to any positions : vents, defrost etc

Welcome to AF!

Check the battery area. There is a vacuum line that runs from the intake manifold along behind the battery, and into the car. Sometimes the battery corrodes causing this line to be destroyed.

thanks there was a broken line by battery. I see coming from the intake ,but after i follow it by the battery where it broke i lose where it goes. scott
