How to purposely blow a fuse
Sorry this is really not a car question, however I need to know how to purposely
blow an automobile fuse. Not trying to blow one in a car, but a friend's son has a project, and needs an example of a blown fuse. While I have tons of spare fuses, obviously I don't keep blown fuses. The type I have are the little plug in pin type, not the old glass barrel type, but I guess it really doesn't matter, they all blow if the amps are high enough. Thanks. Re: How to purposely blow a fuse
Put 12v across it -wired directly directly from car battery posts-- that'll do it for sure....

Re: How to purposely blow a fuse
The other obvious answer would be to install the fuse in the throttle control system of a Toyota.
Sorry, I just HAD to...
