no start

I thought i had passlock problems but the theft light never stayed on
but i remembers when i bought the car the switch was a little tough to turn
so i put wd40 and here lately the car just turned over and very slow to fire.
4 days ago i sprayed the switch with contact cleaner and wola benn working like a charm so far fires realy fasts no turning over and over to start it... thanks to this forum
