Swapping engine ek1 civic
Hey guys. Just gotta few questions for anyone that can help.
I have a 1996 honda civic Lxi with a D16Y4 Engine (single cam, non vtec, 1600) Its an EK1 civic and i was wondering how easy it would be to swap in a B18 or B16 engine and would there be a big difference? Is it simple drop in and hook it up or is there more work to be done. Also if i did this would i need to replace other parts(gearbox, clutch etc) to handle it? Thanks in advance for any help on this!
