01 Protoge 1.6 head

I have an 01 Protoge with the 1.6 engine. I blew the head gasket. The head had already been rebuilt once before and had the head shaved up to the factory tolerances. I will now need a new head as I can not shave any more off the head to flatten the warp. What other heads will work from other models or brands of cars. I am going to have to go to the salvage yard to get a new head and need to know what I can look for that will cross fit to my car in case I have a hard time finding a Protoge from 97 to 02. Anybody have any experience with using head spacers as an option?
