1997 Buick Park Ave. Location??
I just recently replaced the transmission on the car and the repairman said that the neutral safety switch gotta be replaced. It shifts fine from what it did before but puttin it in gears another story. When it says 3rd its actually in drive and droppin it in other gears is funny too. Will this switch fix this?

the transmissions on moden cars have a lot to do with electronics. i have seen similar examples of the same problem and the neutral switch fixed it. and it is located where the linkage cable on top of the trans hooks to the transmission and it has a plug on it also
