Williams FW16, Fujimi 1/20

Finally...

The new Fujimi FW16 kit, San Marino Version; I chose Damons car.

There were some problems while building: the original decals cracked (not only here, others had the same problem), the cartograf ones were better, but still had the wrong dimensions (Segafredo too big, stripes too wide), and I got a poison set from Indycals where some decals where missing (Michael immediately wanted to send me the missing ones, but I had already put the clear on). So the blue things are a mix of Zero Rothmans blue and two different blue decals, but it's not that noticeable, and I don't take part in contests The rest was done with Zero white, Zero 1k clear, Aquacolors, the included belts, some CF on the rear suspension and I scratched an injection system. Unfortunately the cowling only fits on one side at a time (as usual with the new Fujimis :/ ), the whole model is a bit fragile, especially at the front suspension.

Hope you like it anyway.

I had a little WIP over at F1M.

Looks really good, nice amount of detail under the cowlings

Looks like a very nice, clean build to me despite the difficulties

Super clean build. I found it surprising that the new replacement Cartograf decals and Indycal decals both had missing decals. I was glad to hear that Michael wanted to send you the missing decals ASAP, as I've only heard great things about Indycals.
