Traction control issue from a stop
I'm having a intermittent problem on my 05 Suburban 1500 4x4 when leaving from a stop. The traction control will activate and leave me wondering if engine power will return. I also have a strange noise from the front end, I believe, that is similar to the anti-skid doing a self check like my 93 Sub did. This noise is at low speeds in drive. Not all the time though.
I'm looking at where to begin to trouble shoot. Wheel sensors? Control box under seat? Anyone heard of a recall in the works for this problem? Thanks |

Re: Traction control issue from a stop
Not sure if the scanner I have access to is able to read trans/ABS codes. Will need to check.

You need to check wheel speed sensors for matching and no drop outs.
