Toyota Extended Warranty Question

Hello there,

I bought my Scion TC in August of 2007 and was talked into buying the extended warranty...I believe it was a 5 year/60,000mile extended warranty plan. I somewhat remember the dealer saying I could cancel the warranty if I do not use it, and he wrote down the date in 2012 when the 5 years was up on my warranty packet. I have since surpassed 60,000 miles and was recently wondering if a) I could still cancel the warranty even though I passed 60,000miles and b) if there was any way I could cancel early and not have to wait until August of 2012??
