2006 Kia Sedona

Hello,
Wife just purchased 2006 Sedona, very good shape. However, the only problem I can find is the Driver's side armrest. Appears that someone forced it down and it will not stay in the proper position. Does anyone know how this is attached, and if this problem is fixable? Thanks for any help.

Should be held on with a bolt or nut at the pivot point. You can take it off and see if it is damaged or just loose. Should be a round cover that you can get off with a small screw driver.

Well, don't know about a plastic cover over the bolt, the armrests are cloth covered. That is what I was trying to figure out before I took the cover loose, if the armrest is fixable, or if anyone knows how it is made.

Is there a zipper on on the fabric part?

there is a zipper, and I have not had time to work on it right now. Just wondered if anyone knew about the positioning ratchet mechanism inside, if it is repairable or replaceable.
