98 Chevy S-10 Cam Position Sensor
My '98 Chevy S-10 2.2L is giving me a repeated "Service Engine Soon" light. I've scanned it and found only a P0342 code - "Cam Position Sensor Low Voltage" - which I've erased, but it keeps coming back. Question: Does this vehicle even HAVE a Cam Position Sensor? If so, where is it? Truck starts and runs ok, but for years now it sometimes stumbles during starting as if the timing was out of wack. Anybody know anything about any of this?

Quote:
The code explains the problem. Circuit to cam sensor low voltage. Check voltage to it. As per repair repair flow chat for that code.
