Longblock or complete swap?
I have a 93 SI and am now considering a H22 swap instead of more money into my H23. It's cheaper the Longblock route. Should I just do that and keep my tranny or do the complete swap? There is like a $1000 difference in price between the two...

Good question, i'm wondering the same thing. I think the h23 tranny has different gearing than the h22, but don't quote me on it.

The H22 has shorter gearing...don't know how this will effect the H22 w/ H23 tranny though...Longer gears are nice for the interstate but not good for off the line racing...

Seems like it'd give you a better platform to build on, and a higher top speed.
