Unhappy Engine missing a beat :(

When i am just cruising along at low revs the engine will missfire just quickly then carry on running fine, it has had new plugs, oil change, air filter is clean and thats it, it has done it since I have had the car but i dont know wot it is, it has just had an emissions test and everythign was fine (no adjustment needed), do u think it could be the fuel filter or something like that,

remember my engine is carb'd not injection

cheerz lads

Jim

beat me to it, i was gonna say cap and rotor...while you have it off look to see if the inside of the cap looks rusty...will tell you if thats the problem or not...or if it looks faded/whiteish colored....
