I purchased this EXTREMELY clean bimmer with 177k last week and I let my friend drive it today, he proceded to hit a light pole while testing to make sure my limited slip works around a corner (IT WORKS). This just happened a few hours ago and I must part it out, below is a list of some prices. All parts are on the car, I havent taken anything off yet. The damage is to the hood and passenger fender, fan brushed agaist the radiator now but the car still drives.
Like New black recaro seats - 700 Limited slip 3.91 diff - 350 5 speed tranny and clutch - 350 (4) Nice BBS 13" wheels w/sumitomo tires - 400 Rear black seats - 150 Complete Engine (runs great) - Make offer Like new black door pannels - 150 Front BBS spoiler - 100 like new 3 spoke steering wheel - 75 Anything else you can thing of is available and probably in great condition, including complete AC system, brake system,Dash stuff, CV shafts, interior trim, exterior trim, all lights, or body pannels (no dents except for pass fender and hood). This car was soooo clean, Im very dissapointed at what happened, but I have to move on. I can take off any parts and ship them except for the engine and tranny, if you want to help me pull the engine and/or tranny and pick them up, thats cool, I can probably get an engine hoist. The car in in front of my house in Pleasanton CA. Please email me [email protected] or call me 925-998-3144 Chris ![]() |

Guess what!?! since I didnt get much of a response for parting it out, the guy who crashed the 320 agreed to fix it (as he should) , couple body pannels from the yard, fix the minor frame damage and Ill probably pay for a full new paint job. With any luck, it will be better than before (paint was fading and oxidizing). Its going to cost more than I paid for the car, but this car is so cool and clean, I think its worth it. Im also going to get some eibach springs, ansa exhaust and a k&n. Ill be sure not to let my 320is be driven by anyone else except me.

Back the the origional plan. The body shop said the frame rails would need to be replaced and its going to cost too much money. I also cant keep the car in front of my house, if someone wants to buy the whole car for $1500 obo, that would work and you will have all the parts to make a 2002 or a regular 320i much nicer. Or I am taking offers at lower prices for the parts listed above, and I forgot to mension that the tool box is complete and is 3 times bigger than a normal 320i box. Still, no parts have been removed from the car.
