looking for a car and im on a budget

i am looking to buy a project car. I have about $7000 and that includes the price of the car.

I was just wondering your opinion on what would be the best car and the best things to do to it.

i am looking for the fastest, most reliable car for the money that also handles well.

thanks in advance

Then I don't know why you posted in the Honda forums

Well if you want reliability then a Honda is great- but if you want a cheap great handling project car with speed- I would suggest a Nissan 240SX

I don't know what everyone else is yapping about but with 7grand. you can get a start. Just depends on how old of a car you want. I got a 92 accord lx 2door with only 89k on it for a little over 4 grand. Of course i had to haggle like a mofo to get it. He wanted about 6 grand for it. Best thing to do is have cash, they'll do anything for you if you gots cash. If you spend about 4-5 g's on a ride, you'll still have a couple grand to gets some parts....
