Tiny Light Bulbs

Does anyone know where I can purchase the tiny light bulbs that go into the door lock switches and the likes? This would be for a '99 Sub. I have searched high and low and have not been able to find them.

GM parts department or your local parts place.
Sometimes it helps to remove the bulb and find the no on it.

GM Parts will be useless. They will gladly sell you an entire new assembly with the lamp in it.

Check with your local electronics supplier. If they can't help, check MY local electronics supplier:

http://www.jaytronics.com/

Or check online at Digi-Key, Mouser, or of a number of suppliers.

Re: Tiny Light Bulbs

I've got to replace the ones in my '95's armrests. I had bought some mini LED bulbs from superbrightleds some time back...some NEO3-x and NEO5-x sizes. But they ended up being too big. I think a NEO4-x bulb might work for the larger size base, but haven't found one small enough to fit the smaller of the two needed on the driver's arm console. Since then I've been too busy fixing/restoring other stuff on it. But I have read that the tiny bulbs are available at Radio Shack as mentioned.

Personally, I'm waiting to find time to search for small enough LEDs to replace them with...just not high on my priority list. Let us know if you find them, regular or LED. Good luck!
