i finally got my turbo in

man do my car have alot of problems now. my car stalls when i left off high boost, ( i gotta learn to tune that out in my super AFC) and since this is my first turbo install i missed alot of stuff, such as header wrap!!! the downpipe got soo hot, it was melting everything around the turbo area~!!! it even melted my brake reservoir!! now i gotta find some foil and tie it up with a zip tie so i can cover up that top because the cap melted off!! so becuas eof that, i lose brake pressure over time. its not cool man, not cool at all, plus i think i retarded my timing too much, i cna really feel the turbo lag. i think i should bring the timing up just one more notch so i can reduce that feeling. but in my honest opinion, its a pain in the ass right now, and my car is definitly not drivable anymore, it make take me more then week to fine tune out all those problems. well atleast i just got my a/c back yesturday.

Enough talk about the problems... hows the performance?

Is it a big difference, or is it not making much power because of the problems?

Good luck with it

should produce some interesting results.

Altho wouldn't it be beneficial to ask a garage or specialist to see if they can give some advice on what you're missing.

Have you considered Dyno Tuning?

Dyno tuning is a bit pricey, I say use the butt dyno with another friend who knows KA-T setups.

i found out why i got no brakes over time. its becuase i realized that my brakes were boiling!! the fluid inside the reservior got sooo hot, it was evaporating!! when my brake fluid boils i have absolutely no pressure. so what i decided to do is to go to home depot and buy a sheet of alumium and buy some hot/cold pipe insulting tape, and i made my own heat shield with insulation for under $10. the thing works beautifully, i made it back home in one piece, now i just gotta do a few things here and there and i will be flying.

oh and by the way, i made my first kill today, some older S13 (240sx) hatchback tried to mess with me, i let him go first, then i just hit half throttle and shifted at 4K and i just flew by him, and right when i flew by him, i shifted on purpose so that he can here my blow off valve :badass: i will post pics of my engine up soon
