rear view mirror info needed

For some reason when I bought my 2000 GA GT it came with a cheap replacement rear view mirror. I recently got my hands on a map lighted mirror which still has some windshield glass stuck to it. I could use some ideas on what to use to remove the glass as well as removing the old mirror from the windshield.

Thanks in advance guys...

Remove the existing mirror from the tab on the windshield. Remove the tab from the replacement mirror. Install the replacement mirror on the tab on the windshield. Probably a set screw or a tab to release on the mirror bracket.

Nice, that eliminates any need to remove the glass from the "new" mirror. thanks!

UPdate: this is all I needed to do... thanks!
