Code P0171
I cleaned MAF sensor and checked hoses for leaks. Should I do anything else before replacing MAF sensor?

Re: Code P0171
Welcome to the forum!
What model year and which engine does your Explorer have? There are some common issues specific to the various engines (PCV elbow, intake manifold gaskets, etc). -Rod |

Re: Code P0171
Yeah, the PCV valve sometimes does not seat tight in the rubber grommet on the valve cover, or the rubber hose on the PCV is loose. Put a clamp on it. Look for other vacuum leaks in that area by visual inspection.
