Rare OEM optional parts

What are some of the other OEM USDM optional parts that are rare?

I know of the armrest, lower audio (EQ) console, and Fog (driving) lights. Some even consider the rear speaker brackets a lil rare. but what else is there?

I think i know one. My friend has a 4th gen si. U know those long thin strip decal on the side that some 4thgen comes with? Well he has one and towards the end it says SI. ITs pretty dope and he told me they come stock like that. I haven't seen anybody with that but him?

As stupid as it sounds, the mudflaps are a discontinued OEM option.

Also, I will be buying the OEM Bra and Nose mask from a friend of mine. Its leather and has the "civic" logo embroidered where the H emblem would be. It even has the cutouts for the OEM foglights...IF I EVER FIND ANOTHER SET!!

As far as I know, heres the list of OE options

Foglights
Bra and Nose Mask
Mudflaps
Rear Speaker Mounts
Center EQ console
Armrest
Honda CD player
Door Visors
Moonroof deflector

I think thats it.... at least for the Hatch

Id say the hardest to find out of all of those is a the fogs, with the bra at a close 2nd

Climate control, power windows, power mirrors, power-assisted steering, Sheepskin seat covers with Civic logo on them, floor mats with Civic logo, centre console (flip top storage area as opposed to the open "U" shaped one), "space-saver" spare tyre, leather momo sports steering wheel (Aust option), 14 inch mag wheels, Mugen body kit and wheels (Aust CRX only - honda fitted option), passanger side door pocket to match drivers side.

There are JDM/Aussie OEM options though.

Oh, I forgot the mid-wing which was also an option here. Not to my taste though. Also brake-lamp fitted to the top wing as our 88's had this as option only, in '89 it became standard.

Damn bastid

Those don't count....hahahaha

The floormats weren't an option, but Honda Still discontinued them in 1992 just like all the other OE options. Go figure

Fukkers, I wish I had the "option" to get anything Mugen without selling my first born child.

Oh, could be just because of our country roads, but we had clear hard plastic/perspex stone deflectors that attached over the headlights and a third to protect the front of the bonnet (hood for those of you that don't speak real English ) as an OEM option.

not bad, i have 4 out of those 9, which i could only use 8 since my DX dont have a moonroof. i too would love a set of OEM fogs but they seem to be extremly hard to find.

What about the OEM clock in the dash between the air vents? My 90 DX hatch didn't come with it, I had to scour the scrap yards for one.

Since I got my clock I don't need the cover piece. Do you have anything else small to trade for it?
