Pretty easy, first of all you need to know what the stock muffler is on your car now. is a center in/center out, offset in/offset out, center in/offset out? Measure how long your muffler is and the size of the inlet and outlet part is. it will probably measure 2- 2 1/2 inches. Got a certain brand muffler in mind? The welding part is not hard at all if you can get the car high enough on jack stands or a car lift if you can. If you find a muffler you like, but may be a couple inches shorter than you need, then buy about 4 inches of piping and cut off what you don't need. Addapt it to your old stock pipe to the muffler inlet or outlet, either one is your choice.

PM me if you need more information
Scott

Hell. You can even be cheap and not weld it. Mechanics hardly weld any more, they just clamp the shit out of it, and you can too!

I dont have any kind of muffler in mind.. anything cheap and relieble is fine... I heard they charge around $120 to replace it so i said i'll do it myself..

I got ramps so i may drive the car up on them and i think that should be enough..

also thought about clamping.
what kind of welding is it? liquid? or regular electrode welding?

MIG weld will do fine, TIG will do better.

Welding costs like 20-30 dollars. No big deal. Cost more to buy the equipment for it.
