SOHC VTEC Intake Manifold with D16a CRX SI
so can I use the SOHC VTEC intake manifold with a 92+ throttle body and mate it with a D16a motor in a CRX ?
I know I have to use CRX SI stock injectors for the manifold because of the resistor box and the stock ECU. I'm just trying to salvage some parts together. |

there are a couple differences, mainly theres a little vaccum purge selenoid and MAP sensor that on the 4th gen equipment, is located on the firewall. 92+ has the vacuum selenoid located on the right side of the intake manifold (top), and the MAP sensor is located on the throttle body. And BTW, if you want to use a B16A2/3 throttle body, which will bolt right on, there is no place to run the red braided vent line from the fuel filter, I just ran mine right into the intake tube. DO NOT HOOK UP VACCUUM TO IT. I made tha tmistake, since i didnt know what it went to, made my car idle horrible and run like crap for a month until i figured out what it was.
