decided to do sumthing different in the back of my rex

this is what i have done in the past two days.........

little door incase i have to change the fuel pump

the gray wood on the top is just a jig i ran out of wood so i couldnt to anymore i only used one sheet of half inch plywood so it wont be that heavy............im going to have a 6 1/2 inch speaker in the front of the little triangle thing......and then im goign to have two subs facing up in the back........an amp and the battery right in the back............im goign to carpet it all prolly with black carpet, im also going to have a strut bar in the back if it wont be to close to the box for the subs........i cant wait till i finish it all......

Come look in my trunk. The box alone ways 75 lbs the speakers weigh about 15, speakers weigh about 25 lbs a pice(2 12") and my amp weighs in at 22.8 lbs. So that is about 150 lbs, not including my bat, and heavy ass wire(1/0 gauge)

CRXsk8er - Is that gonna be just a big open box ?? or u doing some kind of plexi glass cover over it all ? cuz if its a box, make sure its that condensed plywood.. i'd recomend gettin that "Touch N Foam" for the corners and cracks between wood peices. It fills it up for better response for your box. It expands then dries, then just sand it down w/circular file. Need any other suggestions/help contact me at my email or pm me here or jus post here, i should chek it again cuz im makin bunch of custom $h!+ too :P

no its not going to be one big box.......there is goign to be a separate box for the two 12"s with the divider and then it is goign to stay just like it is now all open and all the cracks i was goign to fill with silicone or sum shit..........

BTW: I have some box carpet if you want it - brand new hole roll. Will be enough to cover everything you need and maybe a little left over if you wanted to match up some other pieces? PM me with your zipcode and ill give you a price shipped. :flash:

You need to go under the car and drop the gas tank to remove the fuel pump, I believe that cover is for the fuel gauge sending unit.
