Does any one know any thing about photoetching detail parts. where can i get the equipment ? etc.

No knowing where you are(you don't have your profile filled in) makes it kind of difficult to answer you.
I know you can get home photo-etch stuff at Radioshack.

Another site that has some useful info on photo-etch, aside from the one Jay mentions, is www.modelcartech.com
