89 lesabre climate control prob.

my 89 lesabre limited has been parked for nearly 2 years. It cranks and runs fine, but the a/c stays on high. the display is blank and none of the buttons changes anything when i push them. the compressor comes on and air blows out of the defrost vents on high. I'm thinking the unit needs replacing but I can't find one anywhere. any ideas what could be wrong, or where I can get a new unit?

There are companies that rebuild/exchange those units, use google to look for Buick a/c control head.

Any junkyards or pick and pull places near you? Might find one in a car there?
