Re: 2002 S-10 Runs rough (sometimes)
How old is the battery? if original replace.
An old battery puts too much of a demand on the alternator which in turn will burn it up. Your Truck has Computers, control modules, electronic sensors, an electric fuel pump, that needs a good battery. |

Re: 2002 S-10 Runs rough (sometimes)
In the morng keep bells & whistles off until normal operating temp, this will give charging time for the alternator todo it's job. When you arrive to your distination turn bells & whistles off, this will buy a little more charging time.
If you still have a problem with battery going dead, some circuits are connected to the BAT signal & could cause a short to drain your battery. |

Re: 2002 S-10 Runs rough (sometimes)
Ok heres the latest figured out it is missing on numbers 4 and 6. Tried the old piece of paper up to the exhaust trick since these cylinders are neighbors and it is sucking in the paper. ANy suggestions before I tear this thing down??
