Look through some car mags...and pick a car with good reflections...This months SuperStreet had a sweet RX-7 "blue' and a pink S15

I was thinking it might be helpfull to scan the car in and print it out gray scale or monotone to use as your shading reference...

HEY...that's cheating. It is alot easier if you have a b&w photo to go from. Obviously, you don't have to guess what shade a color is, it's already laid out for you.

Here ya go Jeff...draw this...use print it out in gray scale....if you don't want to actually draw the car....trace it....and do some shading....I am working hard of finishing the Nismo Skyln...it is taking longer than expected.

I like the Lude car. I would go with the red civic or the red s-15 because those colors will print out nicely in grayscale. With the yellow and blue car it will be harder to see variations in tone.
