K & R White metal kits... anybody built one?
I'd really like a 1/24 Jaguar XJ-13 race prototype, and it looks like the only option is a K&R white metal kit. Has anyone got any experience of this manufacturer in terms of accuracy, fit, buildability etc? The white metal itself doesn't scare me... at least no more than a full resin kit!

Re: K & R White metal kits... anybody built one?
I've built the Ferrari 375 plus '54 LeMans winner. It's certainly no worse than most resin kits out there. Relatively simple and not incredibly detailed but body looks to be pretty accurate (although I've never really studied it closely). Don't recall having any fit problems. Rivet detail on the body was rather heavy and spokes on the photo-etch wire wheels are a little thick but probably need to be to support the weight.
