Re: need help with 02 sensor

You still need an upstream oxygen sensor, it's the closest to the exhaust manifold.
This sensor gives feed back to the ECU on how well your car is performing.
It's used by the ECU for the air/fuel mix.

Re: need help with 02 sensor

The O2 simulator is used down stream to trick the ECU, it has a Catalytic converter that is working even though it's blown out.

I would stick with a primary O2 for the air/fuel mix.

Did you block the EGR port on this car yet?

Re: need help with 02 sensor

EGR valve is usually connected from the exhaust manifold to the intake.
If not being Green with no cats, you can block EGR port, and go with an
External PCV filter.

look under the hoods of some of these race cars.

Re: need help with 02 sensor

4 cyl, not much for boosting but from the way it seems thats all i can do ,i blocked the egr valve off and it ran good with my foot in the pedal but wouldnt idle at all,so i put it back, about the o2 sensors can i relocate the cats with high flows and the sensors as long as i keep the same setup because i am getting ready to order a 4-2-1 header from dc sports and a new borla exhaust
