Low coolant sensor

Does a 1988 Toyota pickup with a 3.0 v6 have a low coolant sensor that will prevent it from starting if the coolant is too low?

Re: Low coolant sensor

No. there are coolant temp sensors but that shouldn't stop the engine from starting.

There is a clutch sensor that prevents the starter from cranking without the clutch being pressed. I suppose that could go bad.
