2 questions: hows the 240 5 speed take abuse, and how long do 240s last on average?

im thinking i wanna sell my 94 h22a prelude hybrid to get a s14 240sx to turbocharge. i like the rwd idea.hows your s14 holding up over time and abuse?

nah, nissan's suck in terms of reliability when compared to the prelude, or ANY honda for that matter! I am selling my s13 for a Honda, hands down they are just BETTER vehicles.. much stronger.

I mean, the NISSAN 240SX is dated.. my 1990 is 13 years old! Who wants a POS 13 year old car anyway?

I say, keep the prelude.. its one of the best cars ever sold (source, Sport Compact Car, used car comparison test).

Ya man, 240s may be RWD, but theyre not where near as bulletproof as Hondas...most cars arent, actually

i'm not one to down the 240 by any means, i LOVE MY CAR.

but a lot of pieces do break off, in half, dicinigrate.

i dont know anything about hondas, but i seen a 1960's or early 70's honda that i remember and it was in mint condition. he said he didn't replace anything ever, it was all stock. what a beauty.

but everyone does have a honda, if you want to be different go for the s13. it's easy to find excuses to upgrade stuff because a lot of things break and you'll have to replace them anyway.

whos actually sarcastic and whos serious. you wouldnt still have your 240sx's if you didnt want them. the h22a actually is aweful with boost. its known to have many problems over 6 psi, i know a whole bunch of ppl who have blown their motor even at 6 psi. i dont think its bulletproof at all. im kinda sick of just being a honda boy too i chose the prelude to be more unique than the civic and the accord on every corner, and now im realizing how common those are too. i like the 240 since it would be unique, rare, great for drifting, rwd, and able to accomodate a sr20det. i had a friend with a sentra, and i saw the abuse he put that thing through and nothing broke. my mom had a maxima and that seemed to run great also. im seein the light, and wanna go nissan. ive just starting out as a car tuning enthusiast for about a year. i strive to be unique, help your local honda boy out with a knowledge charity to the s14

the h22 does have probs with turbos but thats just more reason to go S/C. i can't tell whos joking either (its half the fun) I drive a EF civic and must say it is #1 for starting up every time no real problems ever. Don't get a 240 cause the next one is mine J/K make up your on mind but id keep the 'lude

Anyway, your mom owns a maxima, so does mine. What year is it? 1995 here... Never had a problem. Wait i take that back, the cat JUST WENT last month... Same with my dad's 95 altima, twice. My 240sx just happens to have a rattle down there too now... I don't suggest it, because you already have a pretty cool car, why change that fact?
