Conversion problem

I have a 1992 Chevy g20 conversion van made from Tiara. The bed in this thing will not go up. It does have a switch but it just moves a little then does not move at all. I need to either repair this thing and get it working or take it out and reapolster it. A little help with getting it to close would be great but a place that sells just the bifold bench in leather is good too. Any suggestions?

Lot of may bees on that deal.
I would.
Check for switch working good and power and ground to motor and motor good and or something binding up of folding stuff.

You might Google search for the company that done the conversion.
And for any company that makes folding beds like yours.

Motorized folding bench seat is it? could be a dying motor/actuator that moves it, could be inside the fabric or out. Try specialty shops in your area maybe if you cant afford shipping, I benefit from living a mile away from one that sells van and rv toys/supplies and provides services. If all fails just hit the 'yard and go with a manual bed and upholster whatever you like.

This is an old post but for future reference try this guy he is located in Long Island N.Y I have dealt with him and he has a lot of part for a lot of different conversion manufacturers
