Air Filter Replacement - 2000 Venture
Does anyone have any tips or pictures on how to replace it?
Any tips on brand? AC or Fram? I hate to take it in and get ripped off by the dealer or mechanic. |

Re: Air Filter Replacement - 2000 Venture
If it is similar to my 97, unhook the rubber hose leading to the throttle body (flat head screwdriver), also unplug the electrical connection to the IAT and MAF sensors, also pull the hard plastic line out of the rubber. Undo the two metal clips on top of the air cleaner assembly and remove the whole duct from the van.
If you dont want to remove all that stuff, I usually just pull the two clips loose and pry back on the engine side of the air filter housing untill I can slip the old one out and new one in. But it has been a while since I have replaced one.
