2005 Dodge Grand Caravan Heater Controls
Driving down the road , Ac gets hots on one side , then goes back to normal. Then vent controls go crazy , it only blows thur the defrosters now. The van does not have the digital controls , It does have the dual temp contols. Iam thinking the control panel wacking out ? Any ideals or test I could run THANKS...... Update think I found the problem, Hold pressure up on the vent control seems to work fine Found a control unit on ebay for 40.00 Dollars Dealer wanted 200 . Let you all no how I make out.... New controls installed works GREATTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT !

The control panel houses the control module for the system. Pretty good bet you're right. You could disconnect the negative battery cable for 2-3 minutes to try to reset it. Inspect the connector. Other models have problems with the connectors melting. There is a test/calibration for the panel but not sure how to do it on an 05.
