Clutch Cable

I've had multiple requests for information on a clutch cable solution. It's buried in the Parts list application thread so I thought I repost some info in a thread with an easily searchable title.

It seems the cables with the threaded end are obsolete or at least difficult to find. A stock replacement cable is not up to the underhood temps or our cars and will not last long. I got one from Maximum Motorsports along with a firewall adjuster. It's longer to allow you to route it away from the heat better. I put some heat shield sleave around mine too. This set up has been flawless. I bought an extra cable to keep in my parts bin and I've loaned it out twice but not needed it myself.
