2003 Saturn VUE (What is a good price?)

I want to buy a 2003 Saturn VUE. They want a base price of $3000 but they say the price is negotiable. I want to make an offer the car looks really good with the exception of the broken transmission which I could have my brother fix or replace for dirt cheap either way. My wife really likes this car but we cant afford a brand new one.

We sure as hell ain't going to buy this for $3000, so what is a good price for this car without going too low and being out bidded by somebody else?

Free? You do know that a trashed tranny is kinda a serious problem? And you won't be able to drive it and see what else is wrong with it. And its a Saturn..... Not known for runnning very well or very long

A very valid point,,, I checked the link and could not help but laugh " Everything in this vehicle works except the transmission "

To a dealer it's worthless, to someone whom may be able to re-condition $500-$600 tops

If you think Dealers and salespeople are the # 1 scum in the industry - think again

Maybe soon gas stations will start showing PORN movies on the
screens of the pumps
so that you can watch someone else get screwed
simultaneously
