2005 Grand Caravan codes

Last night my engine light came on. Can someone tell me how I can access the codes that will help me find out why? Is there a list out here that will tell me what the codes mean?
Thanks

Re: 2005 Grand Caravan codes

Get yourself a code reader or swing by a local parts store. They may read your codes for free. Autozone will for sure if there is one in the neighborhood.

Once you have the code post it or google it and you'll have a wealth of info in no time.

My top 3 guesses would be, Evap code of your choice, EGR code, or Engine not reaching operating temp.

Any symptoms besides the light? I believe you can still do the "key dance" on an 05. Cycle the key from off to on (not start) 3 times leaving it on. Read the codes on the odometer display. Should see something like P0406. Should say DONE when finished.
