impala has many prob. HELP!

not even 3 mths. ago my transmission went out on the impala. after i got that fixed i started having problems wit over heating. i got the fan replaced on it becuz it was sqweeking and that did not help so its still over heating and now the security light stays on and the power locks stopped working completly. any advice?

You need to have the cooling system inspected and make sure the fan comes on at 222 degrees.

The security light and strange things happening with the door locks, interior lights, HVAC, radio and stuff may indicate an issue with the body control module (BCM) -- it gets really complicated determining if the module is actually the cause, because the car will exhibit multiple issues seemingly at random and not always simultaneously.
