Angry Post Whores

Ok this has been pissing me off for a while now and I have to get it off my chest. Why the fuck do people have to cross post/post whore/add thier own projects into others threads??

For example-- someone posts a thread about thier killer model and has pix of it. Not a problem till some post whore comes along and feels the need to post his own pictures of his project in the same thread. Why can't these people post thier own threads about their projects, instead of whoring their stuff in someone else's post??

AGHHHHHH

I just think that is so rude. If I had a post about my model or whatever I would feel pretty mad that someone stold my thunder and poped a post in my thread about their stuff....

Scott

I am with you there Scott, it is totally rude and disrespectful to post your work in a thread about somebody's model.

When you start a thread to show everyone your new model, it is to show your new model, nothing is stopping them starting their own thread to show their model and when they post their model in your thread, it takes the attention away from what the thread is about.

It's like you're showing all your friends your new cellphone, they are all saying how cool it is and checking out the features when I come along with my new cellphone, see you showing off yours and whip out mine that can play more ringtones than yours, so now mine is the hottest and is the one they all want to check out.
How are you going to feel then?

Don't tell me it's different, it's not.

1) Cell phones are gay.

2) Starting a new post wastes bandwidth. (Not a lot mind you, but it adds up!)

3) Who cares if someone posts on your thread? It bumps your thread to the top! So more ppl. can see your model for longer!

Later!

Not true. Posts are posts, regardless if they start a new thread or not...

I believe the correct term for this kind of runt is "Threadjacker" and I can think of quite a few....

In other news the kettle is pissed at the pot for calling it black

I personally have no problem with threadjacking provided it doesn't go out of control.............Postwhores are allright to an extent
