91 Civic Hatchback/Vacuum Hose Diagram and won't smog
Purchased a very used 91 Honda Civic Hatchback for our son to drive to work and back. It was an automatic transmission that was changed to a manual by the previous owner. Of course, it won't pass CA smog. It says it's a Gross Polluter. HC is too high. Mechanic also said the Evap System isn't working properly. We really want to get the car smogged so he can use it to get to his job and back.
Husband wants to check to make sure all the vacuum hoses are routed correctly. BUT, looking under the hood, the Vacuum Hose Routing Diagram is no longer there. We have a Haynes Manual but it does not show it. Is there someone who has a copy of that diagram or can take a photo of it and post it so we can use it?? It's dual point fuel injection & no carburator) As for the HC, he is going to look at PCV Valve and Timing Belt. Any other things we should look for? Thanks! |

Re: 91 Civic Hatchback/Vacuum Hose Diagram and won't smog
![]() This is from an Si model (1988),but emissions should be dang near identical.Search for a helms manual online (plenty of free dl sites, but you should buy one if keeping the crx-stay away from the generic manuals like chilton or haynes),as it THE honda service manual other than the FSM... G'luck!
