ANybody know anything about remote starters

There was a remote car starter in my truck a 1999 F250 5.4 litre 4X4, non super duty and was there when I purchased it. I think it was a Command Start. Well, seeing how I had ripped all the molding away so I could remove my instrument cluster and address an issue there, I decided to cut out the remote starter. However, now my truck won't start.

Any ideas of where they had a tamper lead attached or something like that. In other words, some wire that would not allow the truck to be started.....

I forgot I had a coded key and I am thinking when I cut out the remote starter, they had a device in the circuit to send the code to the ECU.....

Right now I am screwed, help please....

Okay, not sure how I managed to fix it, but it's fixed......
