98 caravan ps problem

Is it possible to get air in the p/s system? Also, what would cause p/s fluid to come back out of the reservoir?

Don't know how air gets in there but sometimes it does. Try bleeding the system (take cap off of PS reservoir and with engine on, turn the steering wheel full left and then full right three or four time) shut her off, put cap back on reservoir and pray.
