Unhappy No headlights, dashboard lights or interior lights

Have a 98 dodge grand caravan..Battery went dead..someone gave me a jump and now the headlights, dashboard or interior lights will not work. Does anyone have any suggestions? I don't know if it is just a fluke that it happened at the same time or what. I have already checked the fuses and I do not see anything that looks like it is burned out. Please help! thanks in advance.

Re: No headlights, dashboard lights or interior lights

Common denominator is the Body Control module (BCM). Try disconnecting the negative battery cable for 2-3 minutes then reconnect. This will reset the BCM.

Re: No headlights, dashboard lights or interior lights

You're very welcome. If you took it to a shop there'd be a good chance they would have changed the BCM and charged you $500+. Still may come to that. Sometimes the reset trick is only temporary but can be permanent. Thanks for posting the fix.
