need help! 97 gmc jimmy troubles
I have a 1997 gmc jimmy,v-6 auto.the suv has only 97k miles.it just started not starting properly.one day fine,next day or so,wont turn over.had battery tested.battery is fine.what do i do now? is this a common thing like many other ones on these gems? thanks.you can e mail me direct at [email protected]. the ignition switch's in the 97's are very well known to be defective.

Inside the passenger side wheel well, you can lift up the rubber splash mat and check the starter cable connections.
They get corroded. Clean them up and see if it helps (you might want to disconnect the battery first) View #6 (don't start another thread asking about this one, the mods won't appreciate it.
