Fuel Line Connectors at Fuel Filter Red and Green???
Guys I just changed the fuel filter on my 03 Sport Trac and what a you know what that was getting that special tool in there to release the fuel lines!
What I was wondering is there are some little windows for lack of better description on the fuel connectors that pop onto the fuel filter that have red and green showing thru. One is red and the other green. Anybody know the significance of those colors? Thanks for input.

It actually not on the filter it is the fuel line connectors that are part of the fuel line where they attach to the filter.

Re: Fuel Line Connectors at Fuel Filter Red and Green???
I would guess that they are meant to designate the fuel flow direction, from green to red. But I have never seen them. If they truly appear to be "windows" then I would wonder if their intent is to show when the connections are properly seated, red means not fully seated, green means seated. Just guessing though.
