where should you hook up a pull chain 1998 lesabre or any other
So your car is stuck or needs to be moved (not towed) where do you hook, wrap the chain so you dont do damage?
Front and rear. I had to pull mine from the rear cause of how it was stuck. Even though it looks like no major damage it sounds like I used the wrong place. I called a service manager at buick he said the control arm is not good use somewhere else but he did not have a somewhere else for me. |

There's not much to choose from under there. It just looks like it is all plastic underneath. I hooked on to the control arm too last winter when high centered in deep snow. I pulled very slowly with a tractor. Had to pull it sideways and then forward. It worked okay and did not damage anything. I wouldn't pull hard on it.

Re: where should you hook up a pull chain 1998 lesabre or any other
Thanks for relating your experience. I was stuck in the sand, on the beach and the tide was coming in.right after the first wave splashed my wheels a kid with a 4runner shows up and has a chain. I went with the control arm because nothing else looks like it will work. we had to pull from the rear. I was in deep and it did not move the first two attempts. he then slammed it three times, I was concerned but looking at the other option of hoping my car floats, I just let him go.
there was some sign on the arm but once I got my wheels balanced there appears to be no touble. |
